2008 Crow Fair Celebration
One of the biggest and most colorful events coming up in Custer Country in August is Crow Fair. This event, which runs from August 14 -17 this year, features Native American hand games, parades featuring some of the most beautiful and intricate Native American regalia you’ll ever see. Many participants not only wear their original beaded clothing and impressive head-dresses, but also festoon their horses with elaborate saddles, blankets
and bridles. There’s a parade each day of the Fair at
10:00 a.m. In addition, Crow Fair becomes the “tepee capitol of the world” for these four days.
