The TypeRider website is up and running! We hope you make TypeRider your go-to site for planning the perfect trip to Montana and Wyoming. This website is about real people – couples, families, and friends – who’ve had unique experiences on the roads and in the cities, on the water and in the saddle as they spent 2-5 days in this amazing area of the country. Bookmark this website, watch for what’s new, and let us hear from you. Please visit our website at www.thetyperider.com |

It’s March, and to paraphrase a famous poet, “A young man’s fancy turns to thoughts of anything but snow.” We’ve had our share of spring-like weather in Custer Country over the last couple of months, but it looks like winter is going to still be with us for a while. The good thing is there are plenty of fun things to do indoors in Custer Country. For some great ideas of how to stay warm - body and soul, go to the calendar of events on our website at www.CusterCountry.com. Until next month, have fun and stay warm! |

The focus this month is on our new 2009 Custer Country Vacation Guide. It’s got new photos, updated community information and some new features. But best of all, it’s free! There are several ways to get one: if you live in the Billings area you can go to the Billings Area Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center on 27th Street, or at many of the hotels, motels, or convenience stores in Billings. In the Hardin area, you can pick one up at the motels that advertise in the Guide or at Newel’s Radio Shack. In Broadus and Wibaux, they are currently available at the State Visitor Centers. If you aren’t close to any of those locations, you can order one by calling toll free 1-800-346-1876 or go to our website, www.CusterCountry.com. We think this is the best one we’ve ever done and the comments we’ve received so far confirm that. My thanks to the Custer Country Marketing Committee, our advertisers, the staff at The Laurel Outlook and my office assistant, Luchelle. Everybody really pitched in to get this year’s Guide done accurately and on time. Get your copy and start planning your visit to Custer Country. |
